Paid $15 for a few pieces of pork, banana and rice - it is very expensive. But their rotisserie chicken is ok. I don't think I will visit again

Excellent and authentic Dominican food with a very good variety of our favorite dishes at a fair price, come hungry because you will be fed very well.

Really not so great. I grew up in a Dominican household and the food was “desabrio”. It had little taste. Fried chicken was dry and not fresh. Customer service was somewhat clumsy.

When I went into this restaurant I was fully convinced that I was in for a good treat. As a specific woman was serving me the food, she was talking all over the food. I remember that same specific woman talking all over the food last year as well. I went on to order chicken and brown rice and I thought it was going to be very delicious. If you were to roll a paper up and just chew on it, that would be the exact same flavor that the chicken had. It was unbearably bland. The rice could have had more seasoning as well.

If I can give negative stars I would. The food can definitely be better (been here a good handful of times to rule out a “bad day” or it was on the way to my destination ) and each time it was a bad experience. The food was horrible and so is their customer service. The ladies in the front ignore you up until you have to call their attention to order, then you get the eye roll and attitudes and your food being rudely served… you’d think they work for free… The gentleman that works in the back (maybe the owner) is just as rude(or worse) than his servers which make sense. It seems as if you’re not from their country, you don’t get respectful attention or good service. Their food is generally dry and over priced and they even charge you over a dollar for sauce that does with your food. Horrible in general, I have no idea how they have anything over 1 star. Do NOT recommend at all!

I wish there was an option for zero stars. The food at this place is nothing to brag about. There are other places around Union City and Bergen County with better tasting food. I have been here twice and the first time I got an attitude because I do not speak fluent Spanish. I thought they were having a bad day so I went back again another day and I got the same attitude. They treated me like I didn't belong there so I definitely will not be returning. I will also spread the word to my fellow english speaking folks. I do not spend my money where I'm not appreciated. John Fried Chicken...For your information, the most commonly used language in America is english, if you choose to do business here then you have to be open to accept customers from diverse ethnicities.
